These are high-performance synthetic aggregates that are completely similar to natural basalt, both in terms of their chemical composition and appearance. The table below explains what has just been stated:

This aggregate is suitable for use in areas where a tough, high-performance aggregate such as basalt is required. However, the performance of synthetic “basalt” is superior to that of natural material (L.A. < 16, CLA > 55), fully complying with the new MEC regulations.
