ZEROCENTO’s successful policy is based on the recovery of waste materials, which are more cheap and perform better than natural materials.

The new European policy about the inclusion of recycled materials in products has been implemented in Italy with the MEC (Minimum Environmental Criteria), which are included in public procurement regulations. Therefore, the use of recycled materials is also being promoted in Italy, which, in the case of the synthetic “basalt” produced by Zerocento, leads to a significant improvement in the performance of the asphalt and concrete.
